LOS ANGELES – Mayor Karen Bass announced that the newest Inside Safe operation in Koreatown and surrounding areas, including near Virgil Middle School, concluded yesterday. The operation, which focused on four different clusters of encampments, brought more than 100 unhoused Angelenos inside.

LOS ANGELES – Mayor Karen Bass and Councilwoman Katy Yaroslavsky announced today that an Inside Safe operation is underway on San Vicente Boulevard between Wilshire Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard. Inside Safe is a new, citywide, proactive housing-led strategy to bring people inside from tents and encampments, and to prevent encampments from returning. In 100 days, the program brought more than 1,000 Angelenos inside. The Mayor’s proposed budget includes $250 million to scale the program citywide.
