LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass today delivered an afternoon update along with California Governor Gavin Newsom regarding the closure of the 10 freeway. They were also joined by other regional leaders including California State Transportation Agency Secretary Toks Omishakin, Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis, and California State Fire Marshal Daniel Berlant, Senator Maria Elena Durazo and Assemblymember Reggie Jones-Sawyer.

LOS ANGELES – Mayor Karen Bass today convened local leaders at the Port of Los Angeles to announce a significant amount of funding to build a greener Los Angeles by helping the Port of Los Angeles transition more hydrogen trucks and cargo handling equipment to zero-emissions and assist the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power as they convert one of their natural gas plants to a hydrogen plant.

LOS ANGELES – Mayor Karen Bass announced that the newest Inside Safe operation in Koreatown and surrounding areas, including near Virgil Middle School, concluded yesterday. The operation, which focused on four different clusters of encampments, brought more than 100 unhoused Angelenos inside.
