LOS ANGELES – Mayor Bass issued the following statement:
“I am deeply saddened by the shooting deaths of two City Sanitation employees at the LA Glendale Water Reclamation Plant. My heart breaks for this loss of life.
“My Office has deployed our Crisis Response Team to provide support to employees and the Personnel Department is making mental health counselors available.
“There is no active threat to public safety. This tragic event is under investigation.”
