LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and members of the African American Mayors Association (AAMA) will convene in Los Angeles this week. The Mayors will arrive in Los Angeles this afternoon, Thursday, February 1, and discuss critical issues including ways to build more affordable housing, address homelessness, expand green energy solutions, and make cities safer and more affordable. The delegation will tour the Hilda L. Solis Care First Village in Chinatown and witness new housing initiatives and strategies in Skid Row.
