LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced that the deadline to file City business taxes has been extended for businesses directly impacted by the wildfires. The due date for those businesses impacted has been extended from February 28, 2025 to April 14, 2025. Additional information from The Office of Finance is available at finance.lacity.gov.
“I am extending the deadline for businesses impacted by the firestorm to file their City business taxes – it’s the right thing to do,” said Mayor Bass. “I have always said that City Hall should be an advocate for businesses – not a barrier – that’s how we will move forward through recovery.”
Support for Businesses is Available Now
The Small Business Administration is in-person at the City’s Disaster Recovery Center 7 days a week to assist business owners. Home disaster loans, business disaster loans, and economic injury disaster loans through the SBA can be applied for at lending.sba.gov are available more information on the City’s unified information hub lacity.gov.
The center is located at the UCLA Research Park, formerly known as the Westside Pavilion at 10850 Pico Blvd. It will operate from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 7 days a week for the next several weeks.
