LOS ANGELES – The City of Los Angeles today announced the opening of Local Assistance Centers (LACs) for homeowners, renters and business owners impacted by the early February storms that hit Los Angeles. These centers will be a one-stop shop where Angelenos can ask questions and obtain information regarding services and assistance available from government agencies and local nonprofits. Angelenos should bring appropriate documentation relevant to the impact on property.
“Our recovery began the second the storm started,” said Mayor Bass. “I hope Angelenos join us in getting the word out about these centers so that Angelenos are aware about this important opportunity for assistance.”
